March 17 How simple a gift

Ephesians 2: 1-10

⁸ “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God— ⁹not the result of works, so that no one may boast.”

 For it is the simple act of belief or faith in God, that God gives humans the hope and more importantly the gift of salvation.  And as we draw nearer to Easter, Christians are reminded that God showed us the way through Jesus.  What parent would willingly give a child to death?  Not any that I know.  And yet, would you agree that is the ultimate sacrifice of a parent?
